Probably one of the most famous of mythical animals, the Unicorn is absolutely a figure of beauty and magic. It is almost similar to a horse, only that it has a horn protruding out from its head. The Unicorn is well known for its speed and healing qualities from its horn. It is said that if you can make a cup out of a Unicorn's horn, it will save you from being poisoned when you drink out of it. Problem is, you're going to have a hard time catching a Unicorn. And that's not all. A Unicorn is a very cautious animal. Approaching it is almost impossible. There is a saying that only a pure young maiden can approch a Unicorn. I guess that's because there is also another tale about a unicorn resting its head in a young maiden's arms when it was about to die.
