Tiger, tiger, burning bright!

Happy New Year again! This time it's the lunar new year - the year of the Tiger. So bye bye Ox, and hellooo Tiger!

It's interesting to see how the year pans out. Tiger years have been known to be aggressive and turbulent. If I'm not mistaken, the last Tiger year - 1998 - was when the Asian economic crisis struck. But for me personally, I remember that year to be a good one. So I don't know what to expect, honestly...

Tiger years are usually frowned upon in Chinese tradition. It's been said that females born in the year of the Tiger are generally hot-headed and dominating. Males are advised not to marry a Tiger-born female as it'll be the wife who will be wearing the pants, so to speak.

Well, as with any other year, I guess we'll just have to go through it and see how it goes. I wish you a prosperous year ahead (the Chinese just love that word), with tons of good luck!
