My escapade to KL...
We're well into December, and the end of the year is drawing near. I kind of regretted saying that I wanted the year to end quickly; it seems a little too fast now. The thought of saying goodbye to another year just like that is... scary.
The past 3 weeks have been eventful. I guess the highlight was my trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My friends and I had a wonderful time roaming the streets and the shopping malls. KL is famous for shopping, just like Singapore. It was surprisingly accessible, with its monorail system reaching every hotspot.
The Petronas Twin Towers were a sight to behold - especially at night. We visited a deer park, too. And a significant part of our trip was learning a whole lot about Chinese Tea. We stepped into this shop specializing in Chinese Tea, and as one thing led to another, we found ourselves glued to our chairs, engrossed in what the shop owner was telling us, and the delicate way he brewed the tea leaves.
All in all, a fabulous getaway for us! I'm really grateful that our trip was a success, after all that background work and planning. It was the experience that mattered, and I'll never forget it...
